Read what Biblical Institute Alumni say:

"The Institute for Biblical Truth established in me very foundational principles in my walk with God. It taught me how to use the weapons that God has given me and put them into very active use, and specifically it taught me how to activate my will.  It taught me how to no longer just know what I am to do, but to actually step forth and do it. I will never see my walk with God the same."
Cassie Applegate, USA

"I think it would be no under-statement to say that the Institute was a launching pad for me into a far more expansive, richer and more secure relationship with God. Perhaps, my whole outlook on life was expanded and enriched. If you are serious about knowing God more intimately and seeking His Will for your life, then the Institute For Biblical Truth will help you immensely, so Go."

Out From the Wilderness Into the Glory

Tamara Winslow's new CD Out From The Wilderness Into The Glory
OUT FROM THE WILDERNESS by Tamara Winslow ©2011
Dark are the shadows of yesterdays of trial wandering and longing for peace
But deep in the recesses of my desire
I find that my cry will not cease calling for You, calling Your name
Out of the wilderness, Out of the shame

CHORUS
I have found You entered Your glory witnessed Your light
I have found You leaving the wilderness far behind
Out from obscurity into the light I see who You really are
Out from the wilderness into the Glory

No longer searching my heart is at rest
Your kindness has led me to find
That when you are near me and we are as one my passion for You is refined
Calling for You, Calling Your name Out of the wilderness, never the same
Keyboard, lead vocal: Tamara Winslow; Electric Bass: Austin Ward; Percussion: Roger Gillespie

HAD I KNOW THEN by Tamara Winslow © 2011
We all hated the smell of his smoking cigar
When we rode in the back of our old Chevy car
And we knew that he wouldn't drive very far 'til he started singing his songs
For we all knew the words We had learned them by heart
'Bout the Old Linden tree and How Great Thou Art
But we mostly just listened and quietly played then sometime we'd sing along

CHORUS Had I known then what I knew now I might have lived differently
Had I known that he was teaching me how to sing with my God give gift
Oh he started the song within me

Now his song is gone silent I can barely recall
How his voice really sounded back then
And today as I'm wishing to hear him sing, I can almost hear him again
For somewhere in Heaven he's singing a song
And the folks there will probably all sing along
And he will not be smoking that smelly cigar
As he stands there to sing for the King
La La La La La La......
And the folks there will probably all sing along
as he stands there a praising the King

CHORUS
Oh he started the song, We can all sing along, He started the song within me
Keyboard, lead vocal: Tamara Winslow; Background vocals: Tamara Winslow, Lynn Maudlin & Eric Uglum; Guitar & Mandolin: Eric Uglum; Bass: Austin Ward; Drums & Percussion: Roger Gillespie

Revival Bible, edited by Dr. Tamara Winslow, Steve Hill,
and Winkie Pratney METAPHOR by Tamara Winslow ©2011
I've heard there is a place where sadness runs away
And the shadows of your past will disappear
There has to be a place where you will love again
And I will see life smiling in your eyes

CHORUS Come with me and we will face your mountain
We will see a living hope to last for years to come
Come with me and feel His Son light cleansing your heart
Where promise dreams to sing
(Where angels seem to sing)
Like the sound of new butterfly wings

I dreamed that you could be living free from pain
And all the chains that have bound you will fall away
Oh you've been so lost and sad
I know that things were bad
Let me help you find your way back home

CHORUS
I know you haven't said what I have feared
That once you lost your way, there's no returning
But I believe that hope can never fully disappear
I'll help you find your way
And I'll wait for you to pray
Lord set me free from all that's had me bound!
CHORUS
Keyboard, lead vocal: Tamara Winslow; Background vocals: Tamara Winslow & Lynn Maudlin; Bass: Austin Ward; Drums & Percussion: Roger Gillespie

EVERY WORK by Tamara Winslow ©2011
Many Christians have never learned the foundational doctrines especially the doctrine of repentance from dead works listed in Hebrews 6:1-3. This song is designed to teach that truth.

Every work that I have done
Every sacrifice once made
Will pass through the fire of your true desire
This refinement I'll not trade
As You lead me day by day
I'll pursue Your will and see
That the only dream of eternal worth is the one inspired of Thee
Every dead work must wash away
From my conscience so I can hear You
I don't want to do anything
That contradicts how I fear You
(repeat)
Keyboard, vocal: Tamara Winslow; Classical Violin: Maurice Sklar; Percussion: Roger Gillespie

YOU ARE FAITHFUL Medley by Tamara Winslow ©2011
You are faithful I believe Your word is true
You have never left your children begging
You are faithful & my heart ascends to you
as I lift my voice to praise Your name

CHORUS
Oh I love You, no matter what I see
No matter what I hear,
No matter what may seem to be
Oh I love You, no matter what I know no
matter how the winds of life may blow.
This one thing I know, this one thing I know that You are faithful.
No other conflict, no other war no other battle won
Could 'ere replace the sacrifice of the Lamb God's holy Son
No other conquest, no other foe, no other way to win. But He laid his life upon the tree He then died there for my sin How Great, How great, how great the sacrifice How great, how great the love of God when the Lamb of God gave His life. CHORUS
Keyboard, lead vocal- Tamara Winslow, Bass- Austin Ward

Dedicated to Thio Gim Hok

GREATER THAN THEM ALL by Tamara Winslow ©2011
No problem is too difficult for You to solve
No need too insignificant that You wouldn't care
You're greater than what's visible and things unseen
Your character confirms these truths I must declare
You're greater than them all, greater than them all
No problem is too difficult No need is ere too small
You're greater than them all
Greater than them all
Jesus You're greater than them all
Keyboard, lead vocal: Tamara Winslow; Classical Violin: Maurice Sklar

IT DOESN’T MATTER by Tamara Winslow ©2011
(1) It was late that night and the howling wind shook the farmhouse with its gale
I was ten years old and scared to tears when I heard the pounding hail
Daddy's fields would rip to shreds I had seen this pain before
But I did not know the faith he had and always kept in every storm
I laid crying there thinking no one heard
when I felt his calloused hands
Hold my shaking frame with a comfort little children understand
I said, "The hail will wipe us out," I cried because of fear
But he gently looked into my eyes and said
"Daughter let me make this clear"
CHORUS
It doesn't matter if it hails
It doesn't matter if floods
It doesn't matter if the stormy winds will blow
If every stalk of grain is crushed and every field would be destroyed. God will provide for us
(2) I am older now and many years have passed
since Daddy went to be with God
I've seen good times, I've seen bad times when we barely had enough
But then one day when I despaired and wondered if we'd make it through
I recalled my father's words and gripped them in their truth.
CHORUS
Keyboard, lead and background vocal: Tamara Winslow; Classical Violin: Maurice Sklar; Acoustic Guitar, Background vocal: Eric Uglum; Electric Bass: Austin Ward; Percussion: Roger Gillespie

Dedicated to Harry Nielsen my Dad

HOW AMAZING by Tamara Winslow © 2011
After an unusual and poignant time in the presence of the Lord the words for this song were born. It has become a favorite praise song in many countries.
How amazing is Your Presence Lord
How intense the sweet perfume
When I speak the wonders of Your name
The anointing fills the room

I will lift the name of Jesus
I will praise His name on High
I cannot escape the wonder
Of Your presence in my life (Repeat)
How amazing when that day will come when we'll see you face to face
And my partial glimpse of majesty will with fullness be replaced. (2006)
Keyboard, lead vocal: Tamara Winslow; Acoustic Guitar: Eric Uglum; Electric Bass: Austin Ward; Percussion: Roger Gillespie

I HAVE PUT MY TRUST IN YOU / Spontaneous Song by Tamara Winslow © 2011
The certainty of God's protection is so necessary and this song says it as best as my heart could say.
Though circumstances have not changed You remain the same
The truth within Your Name never fails me
When times I am afraid when I look around my life
I will declare that You are good

I have put my trust in You,
You have never failed like people can and do
I have put my trust in You,
You alone have known me through and through
I have put my trust in You

You're my shelter in the storm, my refuge where it's safe
My shield and my defense my one true friend
My confidant secure, on You I will rely,
Jesus, on You I will depend
Keyboard, lead vocal: Tamara Winslow; Bass: Austin Ward; Percussion: Roger Gillespie

KINSMAN REDEEMER by Tamara Winslow ©2011
The affects of redemption and the victorious results of the new birth are barely understood for so many modern believers. My old life is dead and my new real self is alive hidden in Christ. I love the Bible translation that says my new real life is hid with Christ (Col. 3:3)
My life was sold into bondage
Sin's power had held me as slave
I had no hope for a future I was doomed to the grave
I could not purchase my freedom
My wealth would never suffice
You were the only solution to redeem my life

CHORUS
You are my kinsman redeemer
You took my place in the war
You fought for me as avenger
And gave your life for all I could be You gave your life for me

I have no refuge or safety
But that which your blood can afford
High priest of all my profession, You've become my Lord
Just like the ark built by Noah covered with pitch to seal
Your sacrifice of atonement redeemed me and I am healed

I have no hope for my being I have no identity
For when you purchased my pardon my real soul was set free
This new birth now is my victory
Redeemed I now am alive
You are my kinsman redeemer I have been revived

ALONE AGAIN by Tamara Winslow ©2011
I composed this song in 1982 at a time when the reality of loneliness of traveling had hit me really hard. He is the only constant friend!
Alone again.
No one seems to know that I am here.
But out of the silence I begin to hear You call my name
How can I escape this loneliness again?
So even when I feel alone
When I'm with You I'm quite at home
You're always in the quiet of my heart (2x)

Oh soul be still and rest assured
Stand upon the promise of His word
He's a shepherd to those who need relief
According to Your promise Lord,
You're a friend to me
So faithful is He
Loneliness you just have to flee and go
Though I am struggling I can never ever doubt Your love
I will set my thoughts upon the things that are above
And even though I feel alone
When I'm when You I'm quite at home
Even when my heart's like stone
I don't have to be alone

So faithful is He
Loneliness you just have to flee and go
Though I am struggling I can never ever doubt Your love
I will set my thoughts upon the things that are above
And even when I feel alone when I'm when You I
I'm quite at home
You're always in the quiet of my heart (2x)

TWO DESIRES by Tamara Winslow ©2011
Composed in 1981 this song has always spoken to me reminding me of the constant battle we wage against the fallen nature.
Two desires within me war for conquest in my life
One desires purity. The other walks in strife
How can I lay this warring mind at rest beneath the cross
New Creation born in Christ
The carnal way is loss
And Your loving hand holds me up in righteousness
At Your command the blessing flows
And my mind will be renewed within your Holy word my Lord
For You have given all Your life to me

I will not compromise. Darkness cannot reign light
To be Your faithful servant is my goal
Oh inner man rejoice
The war between your flesh will die as His word renews my soul

And Your loving hand holds me up in righteousness
At Your command the blessing flows
And my mind will be renewed within your Holy word my Lord
For You have given all Your life to me
You have give, You have give Your life to me (3x)
Keyboard, lead vocal: Tamara Winslow; Background vocals: Tamara Winslow and Lynn Maudlin; Guitar: Eric Uglum; Bass: Austin Ward; Drums & Percussion: Roger Gillespie

NO MORE NIGHT words & music by Walt Harrah
The timeless theme,
Earth and Heaven will pass away.
It's not a dream, God will make all things new that day.
Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell.
Evil is banished to eternal hell.

No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.

See all around, how the nations bow down to sing.
The only sound is the praises to Christ, our King.
Slowly the names from the book are read.
I know the King, so there's no need to dread.

No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.

See over there! There's a mansion, oh, that's prepared just for me,
Where I will live with my savior eternally.

No more night. No more pain. No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
All praises to the great "I AM."
We're gonna live in the light of the risen Lamb.
